The martial art of Aikido is a self-defense martial art that uses the attacker’s strength and force against him. Kihara Aikido uses continuous movement, balance and no strength to accomplish this. It has been discovered that the more slowly Kihara Aikido is practiced the quicker it becomes automatic in our responses and the quicker our reflexes become. This affords anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, the same opportunity to learn and be very effective at neutralizing an attack.
